Welcome to Cognato Wines — a collection of premium dealcoholised wines made for people who love wine. Crafted from quality grapes grown in South Africa’s Coastal Region, our wines are designed to preserve the freshness, balance and character that make wine enjoyable at the table and beyond.

Our Craft

We begin with real wine, made from quality grapes and crafted with care. Using a gentle vacuum spinning cone process, we remove the alcohol while preserving the aromas, flavours and structure that give the wine its character.

The result is a collection of dealcoholised wines designed to feel balanced, refined and genuinely enjoyable to drink.

Our original South African range is Fairtrade certified, reflecting our commitment to responsible sourcing and long-term partnerships in the winelands where our story began. For us, Fairtrade is about more than certification — it is about supporting fair labour conditions, stronger communities and a more thoughtful way of building a wine brand.
