On October 1, 2020, the new version of Cognato Red will be launched. Compared to its predecessor, the sugar content is even lower, the bottle is lighter in weight, the label has been given a boost in terms of design, but above all the wine is now Fairtrade certified.
The production of a good wine begins in the vineyard; but it is not only the grapes, the climate, and the soil that determine the quality of the finished product. Those who work with wine production must also be treated so that they can feel proud of the product that is produced. We believe strongly in providing fair and sustainable working conditions for all the people involved in the production of our wines. By having a fully Fairtrade certified supply chain we can assure that these principles are followed throughout the production of our wines.
Our hope is that the new version of Cognato Red will be as acclaimed as its predecessor.
