The grapes come from the Coastal Region of South Africa, an area known for high quality wines from low yielding vineyards. All our growers are Fairtrade certified.
Winemaking & Alcohol Removal
Meticulously picked at full maturity, the grapes undergo a gentle pressing to extract a light color for the must. Fermentation occurs at controlled temperatures of 12-14 °C, promoting a slow process that enhances the wine’s mouthfeel. Following fermentation, the wine rests on the lees for up to 3 weeks, imparting additional complexity.
With utmost care, we employ a vacuum spinning cone process to remove alcohol while preserving the wine’s integrity.
The outcome is a refreshing rosé wine boasting distinct strawberry tones, herbal notes, and citrus flavors. Perfect as an aperitif on a hot summer day or paired with flavorful fish dishes and salads.
